Kathmandu, May 16 -- The Metropolitan Crime Division of Nepal Police has arrested a Pakistani couple for stealing money from three shops in Bhaktapur and Butwal.

Mohsin Khan and Puja Mohsin Khan were taken to custody from their hotel room in Sinamangal, Kathmandu, on Tuesday.

According to the division, the couple had struck two shops in Bhaktapur and made off with Rs 100,000 on Sunday evening alone.

Senior Superintendent of Police Sahakul Bahadur Thapa, chief of the division, said the husband and

wife first stole Rs 30,000 from RK Electric

and Electronic Centre at Suryabinayak Municipality-5

in Bhaktapur.
