Kathmandu, Dec. 14 -- The Nagdhunga-Naubise-Malekhu section will be partially closed for five hours daily until Tuesday to allow resurfacing and upgrading work. Although work began with partial closure from December 10, the road was temporarily reopened on December 12 and 13 after complaints that the closure would affect the CPN-UML general convention.

A team from the Youth Association affiliated with the CPN-UML met Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Kulman Ghising, requesting a temporary lift to the closure. Following the meeting, resurfacing work was suspended for two days, and traffic was allowed to resume.
