Kathmandu, March 11 -- An explosive device went off in Lokanthali, Bhaktapur, near former communication minister Gokul Prasad Baskota's under-construction house on Wednesday morning.

Superintendent Sabin Pradhan at Bhaktapur Metropolitan Police Range said that the blast occurred at around 7:40am.

"The compound wall of the under-construction house of Gokul Baskota near Manoram Park in Lokanthali has been damaged by the blast," Pradhan told the Post. "Window panes of a neighbouring house and glasses of a van parked nearby also were damaged. There's no injury to anyone."
