A senior National Conference leader from Kashmir stranded in New Delhi avoided seeking any favor from his party president and former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to travel back home amid lockdown.

Sources said the NC leader was stranded in the national capital and like any other Kashmiri he was desirous of getting back home at an earliest but that he avoided taking any favors from Omar Abdullah who could have used his "good offices to facilitate the travel of his colleague at an earliest."
