National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union of Minister of State Finance Anurag Thakur to reconsider the decision of freezing DA payable to both central, state and UT governments employees and pensioners due from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.
President of the NMC, Subhash Shastri in a statement issued here today said that Dearness relief is not a wage increase but it's just compensation against the erosion of real wages and cost of living.
