DODA, March 5 -- The first ever white water rafting festival was today organised by Bhaderwah Development Authority and JK Adventure Group here in the river Chenab at Premnagar Shibnote to promote the adventure tourism in the district.
The festival, which will continue for two days, witnessed huge participation of adventure sports lovers and local public. The event is being held under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr Sagar D Doifode.
Over 1500 people from across the district, especially youth attended the festival on day 1 and about 200 participated in the rafting trip from Premnagar Shibnote to Karara.
