University of Jammu has submitted a Rs 40 crore proposal to the Jammu and Kashmir Government to better outdoor and indoor infrastructure and facilities.
Director, Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu, Dr Daud Iqbal Baba said a proposal has been submitted to the Government and hopefully, a nod will be given in days following which, sports will be nurtured within the campus and sports culture will be developed.
''As per proposals and future plans, indoor halls for badminton, kabaddi, wushu, fencing, wrestling, volleyball will be raised,'' he added and said that besides, a shooting range and a hall for archery will also come up.
