Jammu, Sept. 24 -- Congress leaders on Friday joined the celebrations held in Jammu region to celebrate Maharaja Hari Singh's birthday and Jammuties succeeding in their endeavor to make the government declare the late Maharaja's birth anniversary as a public holiday across J&K.
Congress leaders congratulated the people over the success of the struggle of holiday on the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh and termed it a hard earned holiday by the Dogras especially the youths led by Yuva Rajput Sabha.
They claimed that the Congress always supported the demand for the holiday on Maharaja's birthday and extended full support to the demand of people.
