The Deputy Mayor of Srinagar Municipal Corporation Sheikh Imran is likely to be questioned by the Income Tax Department soon, sources said.
The sources said after department has found some objectionable content in the documents as accessed at the private offices of Imran and that he could be questioned on that front.
It is pertinent to mention that the Income Tax Department conducted search and seizure operations on June 11 on the business group based owned by Imran and his family, covering around half a dozen premises including his residence in Srinagar and private office at the Sangarmal and at some places outside Kashmir.
