India, Jan. 27 -- Zoho ERP has been launched as a comprehensive enterprise resource planning platform aimed at fast-growing Indian businesses that have outgrown basic accounting and financial systems. The platform has been developed as a unified system covering finance, operations, and compliance, while avoiding the rigid structures commonly associated with traditional ERP deployments.

The product was launched in Kumbakonam, a rural town in Tamil Nadu's Thanjavur district. A part of the Zoho ERP development team operates from the company's regional office there, and Zoho said local talent will continue to play a role as the platform is rolled out globally.
