India, Jan. 6 -- NXP Semiconductors has unveiled the S32N7 super-integration processor series, extending its S32 automotive platform with a new class of 5nm processors designed to digitalise the core functions of modern vehicles. The S32N7 is engineered to consolidate propulsion, vehicle dynamics, body, gateway and safety domains into a single, centralised computing hub with built-in safety and security.

By replacing dozens of discrete electronic control units, the S32N7 enables carmakers to simplify vehicle architectures and reduce total cost of ownership by up to 20 percent.
