India, Feb. 8 -- Snapping six sessions winning streak, Indian equity benchmarks ended lower on the last trading session of the week and weak cues from global markets on renewed concerns over US-China trade tiff. The shares of Tata Motors ended 17.88 per cent lower at Rs 150.15 apiece on National Stock Exchange (NSE) after the auto major reported the biggest quarterly loss among Indian corporates as it was hit by asset impairment in its UK subsidiary, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Automotive in the December quarter on Thursday. Nifty futures contract expiring on 28th Feb 2019 fell 1.23 percent or 136.55 points to close at 10957.25 with premium of 13.65 points, while open interest decreased by 1.14 percent.
