Dhaka, Jan. 15 -- The Liberation War Museum (LWM) has reopened its doors to general visitors from Friday at its permanent venue located in Agargaon in the capital following health directives, after being closed for the past nine months.

The museum stopped welcoming general visitors since March 19 to prevent the contamination risks, when the COVID-19 pandemic first started impacting lives and livelihoods in Bangladesh.

Since then, the museum arranged several online programmes on its Facebook page, enthralling the viewers during the lockdown era and following.

Among its virtual arrangements, LWM has organized the weeklong virtual 'Victory Carnival', marking the 50th Victory Day and Birth Centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu ...
