Pakistan, July 15 -- The Islamabad police on Sunday reunited a minor girl with her parents, days after she was reported missing from Firash Town.

A police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Times that Shehzad Town police managed to trace 18-month-old Minha Zayat and handed her over to her parents.

Sources said that Zayat Ullah, a resident of Firash Town, Islamabad, had lodged a report at the Shehzad Town Police Station a few days ago that his three-year-old son and one-and-a-half-year-old daughter went to a nearby shop to take some edibles, but Minha did not return home.

Sources added that Islamabad IG Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan directed DIG (Operations) Waqaruddin Syed to form a special team to trace the girl.
