Pakistan, Aug. 8 -- Former finance minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart Miftah Ismail was arrested on Wednesday by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) after the Islamabad High Court rejected his request for an extension in his pre-arrest interim bail in the LNG import case.

Talking to media, the PML-N leader said his arrest was part of the revenge being taken by the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and added that he would remain faithful to his party till the last breath.
