DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 29 -- FOREIGN Affairs and East African Cooperation Minister Prof Palamagamba Kabudi has challenged the East African Community (EAC) to revisit the regional economic community's past as it envisages a fullyfledged federation.

The minister, who was grac ing the second edition of the East African Business and Investment Summit, stressed that it will be meaningless for the bloc to crave for the much touted federation and forget the twenty-year journey of the EAC.

Prof Kabudi, who delivered his speech in the form of a lecture to the delegates gathered at a local hotel, said the community had had its fair share of ups and downs to get where it was today, noting that it was important to reflect on its journey.
