Sri Lanka, Sept. 29 -- A Supreme Court fuller Bench headed by Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya is to commence its hearing today (29) regarding the Constitutionality of the proposed 20th Amendment to the Constitution.

Thirty nine Special Determination petitions have been filed so far against the twentieth amendment to the Constitution. Accordingly, these petitions will be heard before a five-judge-Bench comprising Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya, Justices Buwaneka Aluwihare, Justice Sisira de Abrew, Justice Priyantha Jayawardena and Justice Vijith Malalgoda.
