Sri Lanka, Aug. 27 -- Fourth seed Savini Jayasuriya set up a semi-final showdown in the Women's Open Singles with the top seed Janali Manamperi when she outplayed the unseeded Tuwini De Alwis in straight sets on day six of the Clay Court Tennis Nationals, which continued at the SLTA Courts in Green Path yesterday.

The 17-year-old Schoolgirl from Bishop's College, Colombo playing her second game of the tournament displayed tremendous skill and control before cruising to a convincing 6-1, 6-3 victory in the quarter-final fixture.

Her rival in today's high profile semi-final, Manamperi also warmed-up in style with a rousing 6-0, 6-0 triumph over the unseeded Alana Seneviratne.
