Sri Lanka, Sept. 24 -- The Professionals' National Front (PNF) announced that they would continue to oppose the liberalisation of land policy. They suggested that people acting in American interests were continuing to push the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agenda in Sri Lanka.

The PNF noted that there were also elements of the 20th amendment that helped the MCC. They called on the government to prevent the hasty passing of legislation as this would limit their capacity to organise against laws that harm the national interest.
