Sri Lanka, Aug. 17 -- The Special Task Force (STF) had arrested three suspects with underworld connections yesterday in connection with the hacking to death of two gangland figures in Madampitiya last Thursday, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.

The suspects were arrested by a Police Special Task Force (STF) team at Mattakkuliya where two swords have also been seized.

According to Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara, the three-wheeler found abandoned at the Madampitiya cemetery where the murder took place, was found to belong to W.A.Niroshani, the wife of notorious drug dealer 'Kudu Roshan'. Niroshani is also currently in prison.
