Sri Lanka, May 27 -- Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake has reportedly urged the government not to release any findings of the Parliament Select Committee report on Easter Sunday attacks before the No-Confidence Motion against Minister Rishad Bathiudeen is taken for debate.

JVP sources said the basis for this is that the No-Confidence Motion (NCM) against Bathiudeen and the probe on Easter Sunday attacks should be treated separately.

Dissanayake had told JVP office bearers that they should allow the government to take any political advantage by virtue of the Parliament Select Committee. Sources said the JVP accepted the need for setting up a Parliament Select Committee to unravel those responsible for ignoring intel...
