Sri Lanka, Oct. 10 -- SSC opening batsman Nipun Dhananjaya topped the list as the highest run-getter with 376 runs, having struck a century and three half-centuries averaging 75.2 from six matches in the Sri Lanka Cricket Major Club Under-23, 50-Over Tournament. Dhananjaya scored a cracking a century on his way to becoming the leading run-scorer in the tournament scoring 100 against Bloomfield, on the final day of the first round of the tournament. Malindu Maduranga the Mahanama College right-hand batsman cum CCC skipper placed second with 273 runs after scoring an unbeaten 73 off 45 balls inclusive of 7 sixes and 3 boundaries against Kandy Customs CC. He scored three fifties, averaging 54.60 from six matches.
