Sri Lanka, Nov. 11 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) will unite with the joint opposition at the right time under agreement of policies and not for personal benefits.

Speaking at the budget debate, he said the SJB will not unite for V8s, Ministerial positions, MPs' insurance or other positions but will unite under agreement of policies to bring in a prosperous country for the people.

He said President Anura Kumara Dissanayake mentioned the other day about the alliance of the joint opposition and pointed out that they do not require the advice of the President.
