Srilanka, May 1 -- The government has informed the European Union (EU) GSP+ monitoring mission that the committee appointed on the repeal of the PTA will submit its report in Parliament within three months.

The assurance was given by Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath during a meeting with the visiting European Union (EU) GSP+ monitoring mission yesterday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the EU mission had commended the government of acting within a timeframe on repealing the PTA and assured technical assistance in the process if required.
