Sri Lanka, Dec. 3 -- Fort Magistrate Isuru Netthikumarage has issued a warrant for former Colombo District Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa, who is out on bail, after he failed to appear in court.

Weerawansa faces allegations of misusing 40 government vehicles provided to the National Freedom Front by the Presidential Secretariat, causing an estimated loss of Rs. 9 million to the government.
