Sri Lanka, Dec. 1 -- Teams from India's National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the country's specialised agency for search and rescue and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR), have carried out rescue operations in Badulla this morning, working in coordination with Sri Lankan authorities.
The NDRF teams, who recently arrived in Colombo as part of India's ongoing support to Sri Lanka's disaster response efforts, assisted families affected by severe flooding in the Badulla area.
