Manila, Nov. 4 -- The Vatican is looking towards working with Sri Lanka in meeting international challenges and enhancing bilateral ties with Sri Lanka, visiting Vatican Secretary for Relations with States and International Organisations, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher said today.
Speaking to the media after a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tourism and Foreign Employment Vijitha Herath, Archbishop Gallagher said the Vatican is willing to continue cultural exchange programmes with Sri Lanka at a time when both states celebrate 50 years of diplomatic ties.
