Sri Lanka, Dec. 23 -- Urgent issues faced by residents displaced and affected by Cyclone Ditwah in the Mullaittivu district were reviewed at a special disaster committee meeting held yesterday at the Mullaittivu District Secretariat.

The meeting of the Mullaittivu District Coordination Committee was chaired by Deputy Minister of Cooperative Development Upali Samarasinghe and held under the patronage of Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Ananda Wijepala. The special session was convened on the instructions of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to accelerate relief and recovery efforts for affected communities.
