Sri Lanka, May 25 -- Two young boys were killed in two separate accidents involving motorbikes yesterday, Police said.
They said a 14-year-old boy was killed when the motorbike he was ridding collided head-on with a truck at Gangodagama junction on the Hakmana-Beliatte road.
The boy was pronounced dead on admission to the Tangalle Hospital.
Meanwhile, another 15-year-old boy was killed and four others injured when a motorbike crashed against the back of another motorbike at D2 canal area in Ethimale.
The injured were admitted to the Sirigala Hospital.
Investigations have revealed that six youth had been on the motorbike at the time of the accident and none of them had worn helmets.
