Sri Lanka, Dec. 11 -- Australia has named its squad for the ICC U19 World Cup 2026, with Nitesh Samuel and Naden Cooray, both of Sri Lankan origin, earning call-ups after stellar performances at the Under-19 National Championships.
Samuel topped the charts with 364 runs at an average of 91, winning Player of the Tournament, while Cooray impressed with all-round skills. Both were also named in the Team of the Tournament.
The squad, featuring diverse talents, kicks off its campaign against Ireland on 16 January in Windhoek, with a key clash against Sri Lanka on 23 January.
