Srilanka, May 13 -- Controversial female primary tutor Hayeshika Fernando, who is still at large over an assault involving a youth, is wanted by three police teams, the police said.

Reputed among Grade Five scholarship students as 'Teacher Amma' (mother teacher) for her private tuition classes, Fernando started evading arrest since last week, when a youth was hospitalised in Negombo over assault charges.

Katana Police conducting preliminary inquiries learned that the teacher had allegedly kicked the youth in his groin, whilst her husband and manager too had beaten the youth.
