Sri Lanka, Aug. 27 -- Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association (LPBOA) Chairman Gemunu Wijerathne said that the new joint timetable for long-distance bus services cannot be implemented all at once and should be tested for at least a month to correct any errors.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Wijerathne noted that he first proposed a joint timetable in 2012. He added that a properly managed timetable can help reduce road accidents and save passengers' time.
