Sri Lanka, Aug. 29 -- The Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) and the Illangai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) discussed economic and political reforms with the US Congressional staff in Colombo, TPA leader Mano Ganesan said today.

"Meaningful discussions with the visiting US Congressional staff delegation! Focused on strengthening democracy & reviving the economy. Argued our stands on a new Constitutional process, Provincial Council elections, repealing the PTA, implementing LLRC recommendations and Chemmani and all mass graves in the north, east and south of the country," MP Ganesan said in his X message.
