Sri Lanka, July 14 -- Three officials, including a former Assistant Secretary of the Department of Motor Traffic, have been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) in connection with the illegal registration of a vehicle.

The Bribery Commission said it is currently investigating the unauthorised registration of a vehicle bearing the number GS-9164 with the Department of Motor Traffic, which was carried out without clearance from the Sri Lanka Customs.
