Sri Lanka, Nov. 20 -- Three passengers were arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) last night (19) after attempting to carry out of the airport a stock of 'Kush' drugs valued at Rs. 40 million.

The suspects, aged 34, 26, and 26, from Colombo 12, Colombo 15, and Wellampitiya respectively, all work as taxi drivers. They had arrived on SriLankan Airlines flight UL-315 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at 8:30 p.m. on November 19.

The Airport Police Narcotics Bureau discovered 4 kilograms and 22 grams of "Kush" drugs concealed in four packages in their luggage after the trio had completed all airport checks.
