Manila, Jan. 22 -- Three persons were killed following the collapse of an earthen embankment at a construction site in the Pelassa area, police said.

According to the Ahangama Police Station, the incident occurred at a construction site of a cabana project, where the embankment suddenly gave way, trapping the victims.

The deceased were pronounced dead at the scene, and their bodies have been deposited at the Ahangama Hospital for further procedures.

Police have launched investigations into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the collapse.
