Sri Lanka, Feb. 9 -- A Grade Eight students from a school in Nanuoya has been admitted to the Nuwara Eliya District Hospital after being severely beaten by a teacher.
The girl who returned home after school had complained of headache, dizziness and vomiting and told the parents that she was beaten by a teacher. During investigations of the parents' complaint, she stated that the teacher often harassed the students and abused the children in harsh and rude words.
