Sri Lanka, Nov. 25 -- Former Sri Lanka cricket captain Arjuna Ranatunga criticised the current national team, saying the players possess talent but lack the brains to play intelligently and the shame to accept defeat gracefully.
Speaking at an event with a group of students, Ranatunga said while the current players are talented, they lack the discipline and mindset required for international cricket.
"The ones who learn have the brain to judge how to face the ball, how to bowl and how to take a catch," he said.
Ranatunga also criticised the cricket administration, saying mistakes by officials are affecting the players.
