Srilanka, July 25 -- Several buildings of Ananda Maha Vidyalaya in Kithulampitiya, Galle, were severely damaged this morning (25) due to strong winds accompanied by heavy rainfall. The incident occurred while term examinations were underway at the school. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among students or teachers. However, the unexpected weather caused significant damage to parts of the school's infrastructure. The school, which has around 200 students, has announced that the interrupted examinations will be resumed in the evening. School authorities and local officials are assessing the damage, and necessary safety measures are being taken to ensure student welfare.
