Sri Lanka, May 27 -- The state funeral accorded to the Queen of Sri Lankan Cinema, Malini Fonseka cannot be erased by the insult cast on her while she was living, an Opposition MP said today.
"Chief Government Whip Nalinda Jayatissa mentioned that a certain amount of funds were given to the late actress from the President 's fund for medical treatment. He said it while criticising the gesture by the previous government. However, the government ended up according Malini a state funeral. The Government's genuineness is questionable here.
