Sri Lanka, June 20 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism stated that the Sri Lanka Embassy in Tehran, Iran, has been temporarily relocated due to the prevailing situation in the region.

The embassy is now operating from the Amini Villa, Kohestan Alley, Imam Khomeini Street, Owlom, Masal, Rasht.

Sri Lankans in Iran who require assistance or wish to return home are advised to contact the embassy using the following contact details:
