Sri Lanka, June 21 -- From world-famous tea to dazzling gems and spices, Sri Lanka is showcasing its rich culture and trade potential at the 9th China-South Asia Expo in Kunming.

With a high-level delegation attending the Expo, Sri Lanka is seizing the chance to deepen ties with China and boost business.

"For Sri Lankan brands, this expo isn't just an event - it's a gateway to the Chinese market," organizers said.

The Sri Lankan government recently said that it is trying to attract fresh investments from China and have invited investors to study the country's potentials.
