Sri Lanka, June 17 -- The largest lottery prize in the history of the country's lottery was claimed yesterday (16) during the National Lottery Board's Mega Power 2210th draw.

The super prize of Rs. 474,599,422 was won through a ticket sold by H.A. Janaki Hemamala, a lottery sales agent from Gokarella.

Previously, the Mega Power lottery set a record with a super prize of Rs. 230 million, which, until now, was the biggest prize in the history of the lottery.

This latest win marks a new milestone for the National Lottery Board's Mega Power draw.
