Sri Lanka, Nov. 7 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that Sri Lanka has achieved US$ 823 million in Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) by September this year.

He said the government remains committed to creating a more investor-friendly environment through policy stability, infrastructure development, and streamlined approval processes to attract further investments in the coming months.

The President made these remarks while presenting the 2026 Budget in Parliament today (07).
