Colombo, July 27 -- Sri Lanka has welcomed over 1.3 million tourists so far this year, according to data from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
As of now, a total of 1,313,232 foreign visitors have arrived in the country in 2025. In July alone, 145,188 tourists have been recorded.
India remains the leading source market, contributing 27,786 arrivals, which accounts for 19.1% of the total arrivals in July.
