Sri Lanka, June 9 -- The Sri Lanka Railways has launched special train services from Colombo Fort to Anuradhapura and Mihintale to facilitate devotees traveling for Poson Poya observances.
According to the Railways Department, 20 special trains will operate from Colombo to Anuradhapura, while 36 free services will run between Anuradhapura and Mihintale over the next three days.
Additionally, sufficient return train services from Anuradhapura will be available throughout the period to accommodate the large number of pilgrims expected to visit the sacred sites.
