Sri Lanka, Dec. 5 -- The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has announced that commuters holding train season tickets can temporarily travel on SLTB buses following the suspension of train services due to the recent cyclone.

SLTB Chairman Sajeewa Nandana Kanakarathna said that this arrangement will remain in effect until train services resume.

However, he clarified that the permission does not extend to SLTB luxury bus services.
