Sri Lanka, March 28 -- Though the results of the National Animal Census, which was conducted islandwide on March 15, were set to be announced today (28), the working committee said that it will be delayed further.

Recently, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Namal Karunaratne said that the report containing the data of the National Animal Census will be published today (28).

However, a member of the committee said that the committee will meet today and a review of the data will be conducted.

Attempts were made to contact the Deputy Minister of Agriculture to inquire about this matter, but they failed.
