Sri Lanka, Dec. 3 -- Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his deepest sorrow over the tragic loss of life and property caused by Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka.
In a message following a phone call from Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Sharif extended heartfelt condolences to the families affected and praised the swift and courageous response of Sri Lankan authorities and rescue teams under extremely challenging conditions.
"As a neighbor and brotherly country, Pakistan has always stood in full solidarity with Sri Lanka, especially in moments of grief," the Prime Minister said.
