Sri Lanka, June 5 -- Parliamentarian Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam presented a private member's Bill titled "Bill to amend the Provincial Councils Elections Act, No 2 of 1988", aiming to hold the Provincial Council elections.

MP M. Nizam Kariapper seconded the Bill.
